Our residentials encompass high-quality sports sessions with a range of developmental workshops. Workshops cover a wide range of topics from money management and identity, to healthy eating and NLP. We look to change perspectives on who participants are, opportunities available to them and where to find support. We ensure the coaching offered on our residentials is of a high standard and involves Q&A with current and ex-professional sportspeople providing inspiration and insight. We understand the power of sport to engage and then build on this engagement to provide additional learning.
Our sport for development programmes can run weekly over six, nine or twelve weeks. Topics covered can be generic or tailored to suit your groups needs depending upon where they are and what their immediate goals might be. Programmes will incorporate informal mentoring that could be developed into a formal one to one relationship. Next steps and signposting also make up elements of the programme. Accredited qualifications can be included.
Our one or half-day workshops explore ways sport can be used for more than just sport. Ideal for students, coaches and practitioners in the field who want to better understand what sport for development, is we cover international and domestic examples of Sport for Development. Sessions can include both theory and practical examples.
Presentations and lectures are also available and have been delivered in both Universities and Prisons.
Mercurial Sports have developed a range of online content exploring issues through sport. The first of this content that is available for you to purchase looks at history and race through the prism of sport. Presentations, video content and even live zoom presentations are available for you to purchase to help educate and encourage discussion.
